So guys my story, Last year I tried using vfs and TLS to get a single entry initially both the sites kinda sucked. So I tried applying to Poland since i got an invitation from my roomate,via their consulate, was really hard to communicate and got a site which was again sucked, then somehow managed to book from Poland( don't know why it didn't show slot when looking from uk) Got the visa for 14 days single entry. 1 month validity. This year started looking for Austria, Hungary, Slovakia around mid March in VFS, and wasted a lot of time. So thought of applying to France asking for a multiple entry, logged in today morning and only slots were premium ones and checked 5 mins back and managed to get a standard slot. My personal suggestions are, try looking from a different country sometimes works,
