Sources and attribution

Records come from public outcome reports in the @schengen_visa_gossip Telegram community or from direct submissions on the statistics page. Public source messages are linked when a stable source URL exists.

Observation window and time

The main pages use all eligible records available for the selected application origin. Dates are normalized and evaluated in UTC. The displayed date range is evidence-derived from eligible records; a render time is never substituted as a data date.

Inclusion and exclusion rules

• Future-dated passport records are quarantined from public metrics and case lists.
• Processing intervals require both an appointment date and a passport date, must be positive and must be shorter than 120 days.
• Refused cases do not contribute to issued-visa properties such as validity or entry type.
• Missing validity, entry type, timeline and outcome fields are excluded separately, so denominators differ by metric.
• Country headline comparisons require at least 30 usable values for the specific metric.

Statistics and uncertainty

Typical values use medians. The middle-50% range uses the 25th and 75th percentiles. Counts are always shown next to comparisons. Because the reports are voluntary and self-selected, results describe this dataset only; they cannot estimate official approval rates or predict an individual outcome.

Privacy, corrections and removals

Public displays use a public username or first name where provided. To correct or remove a report, email hello@visacatcher.bot with the case link. See the privacy policy for the governing legal text.

Caching and updates

Public summary and initial-case responses use a 10-minute server cache. A transient database error does not intentionally replace the last complete cached page with an empty page. The immutable report below records its own observation window, version and checksum.
